1924us Swimsuit No.1
This swimsuit has been in the works over a year now and has a special place in our heart :)
The most rewarding part is knowing it was a communal effort in the overall design process (I asked all of you for suggestions in what you thought was needed / hard to find in a swimsuit, and let the suggestions ruminate for some time also.
It began with myself, Elle :) feeling like there was a need for swimwear that reflected a timeless (early 1900’s feel), yet still new, like something I’ve never seen before AND with good basic coverage.
A swim piece you could wear on it’s own to the beach or a lake - wherever, and also feel covered enough to go and buy something from a shop or go for a long walk in..
We needed..
A piece that covered all the right places and was simply comfortable
was still a nice play on harmony and balance in design and innovation
and of course timeless!!
On the note of Harmony and balance, this was the inspiration the whole time, to create wraps and drapes complimenting all kinds of body types and leaving room for comfort / ease in wearing!
Fabric - 100% recycled nylon
Size - Sizes are listed as below,
the swimsuit is customisable to size and fit around bust, and the bottom half has good stretch so keep in mind these measurements will comfortably stretch a good few inches. The top has added padding which can also be removed for choice of comfort.
if you usually have two different sizes for top and bottoms, purchase your size based on your usual bottom size as, as mentioned the top part is easy to custom tie fit and the bottom is important to have comfortable :)
