Welcome to the studio and general store, Nineteen Twenty Four US. We’re a highly specialised brand that focuses on utility, branding, lifestyle and intricately executed design and photography work. We design a myriad of things from physical products and locations, to ecommerce websites, brand bibles, logos, illustrations, fonts, and more. We’re based on the Sunshine Coast of Australia, but do work worldwide. The niche that sets us apart? All of our work is completed by hand using pencils, pens, compasses and rulers. Our brand style is done like that of the early 20th century when animation and commercial advertising was first making its rounds.
Our shop ships products worldwide, with a heavy focus on supporting small and local artists, makers and crafters from around the globe. Our goal is to make the world feel more like home for all of us — to keep tradition alive and respect mutual. We’re not perfect at what we do, but we’re striving to be.
Our shop is curated in the style of an early 20th century general store. The purpose is to provide a plethora of goods available to anyone for everyday use, survival, utility, fashion, and lifestyle. We have a library of goods designed for everyone.
Using all sorts of traditional tools and historical artifacts to create believable timeless designs is our greatest challenge and our most treasured pastime. All of our design work is meant to be accessible to all, by all and for all.
It’s a common request, and one we’re always happy to oblige: You describe it, we inscribe it! When it comes to tattoos, sometimes you love the machine work of a tattooist but maybe not the art itself; this is where we come in, from simple stick and pokes to immaculate designs, we create the work you describe to a ‘T’, and ensure that before it’s permanently on your skin, it’s an execution you’re in love with.
Perhaps what we are best known for, our photography + film work has been showcased globally across many genres of medium. Our photography is routinely featured for brand, personal, commercial, and other work. We have shot for some of the most incredible people in the most awe-inspiring places around the world.
